Hello America, today is yet another day that we can say, “Days without presidential embarrassment…..FUCKING ZERO! And counting. I had hoped to be a holdout to encourage folks to give him a chance, but he is proving himself a 1% asshole just like the rest of the Washington ilk! I am in the middle of the teeter totter. I balance myself in the middle while the angry children on the Left and Right try to knock each other in the dirt. My ass doesn’t end up there because I have found the mathematical perfect position of balance between two warring and extreme knee-jerk factions, none of them right but full of emotional conflict.

My position is to examine all of the facts and examine ways to solve complex problems, the Left and Right positions are examples of how children quarrel over a toy ending in the weakest one sustaining an injury while the winner gloats over the show of blood. It is very strange how the sociopathic  Darwinist takes the position of peacemaker and caregiver of wounds in the midst of supposed normal folk who lust for blood at the enemy’s expense. I usually attempt to lead the religious zealot to the climate change believer and try to broker a peace and mutual understanding between them, me, the social Darwinist who believes that Eugenics wasn’t all bad and that death row inmates and lifers should face mandatory sterilization, believes that mediation could result in rational outcomes and the betterment of mankind in general…DUH!

The Donald is fucking irrational and deluded. He is busy not connecting with the majority of us as he stated he would! He is busy still fucking off at Mar-a-lago at our expense and fucking the local economy by causing a shutdown of all of the airport businesses due to restrictions related to Airforce One flying in their area of operations. Every commercial aircraft is grounded while The Donald’s plane is in the area! This is causing businesses to go bankrupt and the economy to take a downturn which is contrary to the message that he sent during his campaign of restoring the middle class. He isn’t for restoring the middle class, he doesn’t even install middle class friendly people to his cabinet. He elects those who have a strong dislike for those not in their country club and those who hob-knob with the 1%. You see, these assholes are not the 1%, not Donald, not his acolytes or his sycophantic fucktards. The 1% is unknown to us and multi-generational. These people operate above Donald and Bill Gates. These are the Billionaires that we know. The 1% operate above the law and don’t give a shit about the feeble every-day problems of the rich and the poor, they just pit them against each other to create a smoke screen for the constant fleecing.

The Donald was an answer to nothing that was supposed to be an answer to politics as usual. Now we have uncertainty and erratic bullshit over any balanced decision making resulting in a worry over whether or not Donald will kill us all. This dick cannot just shoot off his mouth and expect people to accept him as anything but ridiculous! Our President must respond with diplomacy and measured rhetoric before dropping a big assed bomb on any opponent. It’s like a chess game, not getting punched and reacting. This shit is gonna get us into something that the American people cannot extract themselves from for at least a decade, so pay attention people! Get the net and start being as afraid of this asshole’s policies as any other fair and balanced person!

I am on alert and am reasoning with the people that I can reason with. (CNN)A Muslim flight attendant says she was suspended by ExpressJet for refusing to serve alcohol in accordance with her Islamic faith.

In a bid to get her job back, Charee Stanley filed a discrimination complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission on Tuesday for the revocation of a reasonable religious accommodation.

She wants to do her job without serving alcohol in accordance with her Islamic faith — just as she was doing before her suspension, her lawyer said.

“What this case comes down to is no one should have to choose between their career and religion and it’s incumbent upon employers to provide a safe environment where employees can feel they can practice their religion freely,” said Lena Masri, an attorney with Michigan chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

Stanley, 40, started working for ExpressJet nearly three years ago. About two years ago she converted to Islam. This year she learned her faith prohibits her from not only consuming alcohol but serving it, too, Masri said.

She approached her supervisor on June 1 and was told to work out an arrangement for someone to fulfill passenger requests for alcohol.

“It was at the direction of the airlines that she began coordinating with the other flight attendant on duty so that when a passenger requested alcohol, the other flight attendant would accommodate that request,” Masri said. “We know that this arrangement has worked beautifully and without incident and that it hasn’t caused any undue burden on the airline. After all, it was the suggestion of the airline.”

It seemed to be working out until another flight attendant filed a complaint against Stanley on August 2 claiming she was not fulfilling her duties by refusing to serve alcohol, Masri said. The employee complaint also said Stanley had a book with “foreign writings” and wore a headdress.

On August 25, the airline sent a letter to Stanley informing her that it was revoking its religious accommodation to exclude her from service of alcohol and placing her on administrative leave.

“They placed her on unpaid leave and they advised her that her employment may be terminated after 12 months,” Masri said. “We are requesting that her employment be reinstated and the accommodation of her religious beliefs be reinstated as well.”

A spokesman for ExpressJet declined to discuss Stanley’s complaint.

“At ExpressJet, we embrace and respect the values of all of our team members. We are an equal opportunity employer with a long history of diversity in our workforce. As Ms. Stanley is an employee, we are not able to comment on her personnel matters,” spokesman Jarek Beem said in an email.

Faith is usually the first theme of the articles posted here, but life takes over from time to time, namely my fucking impending divorce from my wife of 21 years.
If you wanted a good reason to disbelieve, my situation is that example. I supported my wife through everything that her dysfunctional family threw at us and rolled with the punches only to be dropped after working two jobs to pay for her education. People would say that my lack of faith resulted in the demise of my marriage, but I would say fuck you you fucking Asshole!

I really can’t believe that the woman who is currently divorcing me is the same person who sat with me during the Neill DeGrasse Tyson event that SHE bought me tickets to.

Copenhagen, Denmark (CNN)After a frantic manhunt involving “all the country’s police forces,” Danish police say they’ve killed the man they believe is responsible for a pair of possible terrorist attacks that left two people dead.

“As a nation, we have experienced a series of hours we will never forget,” Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt said Sunday.

“We have tasted the ugly taste of fear and powerlessness that terror would like to create. But we have also, as a society, answered back.”

The carnage began Saturday afternoon, when a gunman stormed a Copenhagen cafe where Swedish cartoonist Lars Vilks — known for his controversial depictions of the Prophet Mohammed — was attending a free speech forum.

The gunman killed a 55-year-old man at the cafe and wounded three officers before fleeing, police said. The victim has not been identified.

About 10 hours later, someone approached two officers near a Copenhagen synagogue and started shooting, police said.

Just behind the synagogue, a young girl was celebrating her confirmation with a party of about 80 people, the Jewish Society of Denmark said.

The two officers were wounded and survived. But 37-year-old Dan Uzan, who was standing at the gate providing security for the party, was shot and killed, the Jewish Society said.

“The Jewish Society is in shock about the attack, but everyone’s thoughts are first and foremost with Dan’s family and friends, and with the wounded police officers and their families,” the Jewish Society said.

How police found the suspect

Authorities pieced together surveillance images from across the capital and tracked the suspect’s movements, Copenhagen police investigator Jorgen Skov said.

The footage shows the man going from the scene of a shooting to where he apparently abandoned a vehicle, and to a taxi cab.

“By interviewing the taxi driver, we got the address where he dropped off the person,” Skov said. “We have been keeping that address under observation.”

He said when officers tried to make contact with the suspect at the Copenhagen apartment on Sunday, the suspect opened fire. Police fired back, killing the gunman.

No officers were injured.

While the identity of the shooter was not released, Islamist extremists have made documented threats against Vilks. They’ve even placed him on a “wanted” poster in an al Qaeda magazine.

“Everybody, of course, panicked in the room and tried to run,” professor and satire researcher Dennis Meyhoff Brink said. “We were just hiding … and hoping for the best.”

Brink said he heard about 30 shots around 3:30 p.m. Saturday. He said he also heard someone yelling in a foreign language.

The attacker made it just inside the building but apparently got no farther, said Helle Merete Brix, a journalist and founder of the Lars Vilks Committee. The group supports the cartoonist, whose portrayals of the Prophet Mohammed angered many in the Muslim world.

Bodyguards returned fire, Copenhagen police said, but the gunman managed to flee.

“We are investigating this as a terror attack,” Skov said.

Police also said they are treating the synagogue attack “as a possible terror act, but of course we can’t say for sure.”

In a CNN interview later that year from his home in rural Sweden, Vilks said the drawing was calculated to elicit a reaction.

First, let me begin by saying that I am neither Libertarian nor Republican. I do not believe in elitism or any other practice that purposely disenfranchises sections of humanity. I am an atheist middle-of-the-road type who believes in the reality and certainty of Natural Selection as well as the hardwiring of human inclinations to destroy themselves. My statement that 90% of humanity is composed of followers remains true as is demonstrated by the animal in question. 10% of humanity are forward thinkers and less than 2% are natural born leaders, and the 90% drag the 10% down and thwart most of the good that the 10% could ever accomplish. This has been repetitious throughout human history since the formation of villages.

In the village there were village elders who held authority due to experience and charisma and directed the function of the body of people to greater efficiency or to complete ruin, it depended upon the leader. As humanity overcame natural predators, we gathered into concentrations of greater numbers and abandoned the hunter-gatherer way of life in favor of agrarian society. Villages appeared with small governmental structures and alliances or wars were made against opposing human concentration. History remains very much the same in that the elders, kings, whatever they called themselves, were many times afforded the ability to ignore the very laws that they themselves created because they had become corrupt and greedy. Seem familiar?

Today we complain about deregulation and the oligarchs that it has created. The ‘village elders’ have enacted broad deregulation of all of the major industries in this nation which in turn has allowed a select few to buy everything and stamp out small competition and bring the working people under the corporate boot. This is no different from the practices of 10,000 years ago and will continue until humanity has self-destructed or, on the off chance, evolved beyond the need for killing his brother, which I don’t think is possible. We can put a microchip on the head of a pin in 1967 but can’t control base animal behavior in 2015; we’re gonna fucking die!

We are doomed, I say. I have no faith in humanity to correct their greed and avarice, so I expect that we will destroy ourselves and another species will become dominant, period. All that I can do as a father, is to protect my children for as long as I can and hope beyond hope that humanity is more than just a base animal, I think not.

Neil deGrasse Tyson!!

Hello all!

I return from seeing Dr. Tyson in person at the Schnitzer Auditorium in Portland, OR. I am pleased to say that he went WAYYY overtime and was the most engaging speaker that I have seen yet! Dr. tyson spoke of the incredible work that NASA and other agencies performed in the 60’s and 70’s. He told of the wane in scientific research that is on the horizon and of the gutting of the public school system that is causing it. You know, the intentional destruction of the very system that kept us a cutting edge scientific power for many years but is on the downslide now, that system!

He spoke of the shortsightedness of greed and divisiveness that is growing the 1% and killing exploratory research which is directly responsible for the growth in industry of OTHER countries. He quoted Dawkins and chastised those who let dogma interfere with scientific research and emphasized the need to return to innovation and education. He directly correlated religion with scientific oppression and denial, and addressed the violence that it’s divisive nature produces. Dr. Tyson also made the point that it is cognitive dissonance, NOT stupidity that allows intelligent people to get degrees in science yet hold onto the myth of a supreme being. Never did he belittle believers, but he also did not align himself with atheism. The brilliance of this position is that it allows him to teach science to religious people which often leads to their de conversion and allows them to enter reality without as much difficulty as having to be told that god is only a myth.

Atheists with nothing to lose and no wish to have a platform from which to speak in the religious community, appreciate Dr.Tyson and already know that gods are a myth created by men afraid of the dark and of death. Dr.Tyson, on the other hand, wants very much to bring scientific truth to these people that plant their heads in the sand, and by getting them interested in truth, he creates more people based in reality and not in the fantasy world of unseen specters. I see and very much appreciate his approach and see that it is a wonderful effort to wake people up without insulting the mythology that they believe in.

Most people are followers, and will do what they are told. Those with their heads in reality tend to resist the crowd mentality better than those who believe in the nonsense of the bible and other books, so when led to the light, the rest of the truth usually breaks the trance that these people have been in for years.

There is nothing to suggest that people on welfare are lazy. But there is also nothing to suggest that they are stupid. If you pay someone as much for not working as you do for working, it should come as no surprise that many take advantage of the offer.

We know that one of the most important long-term steps toward avoiding or getting out of poverty is a job. Even a low-wage job can be the first step on the road to self-sufficiency.

Around the world, welfare states provide benefits well in excess of the entry level wages that an individual with limited skills can expect to earn.

In the United States, a person who receives a full package of welfare benefits (T.A.N.F., food stamps, Medicaid, public housing, W.I.C. and free commodities) can receive more in every state than they would earn from a minimum wage job, according to a forthcoming Cato study.

This discourages recipients from moving from welfare to work, especially if, as the Congressional Research Service points out: “Leisure is believed to be a “normal good.” That is, with a rise in income, people will “purchase” more leisure by reducing their work effort.” In other words, an increase in benefits could encourage people to reduce their work hours.

Even President Obama has acknowledged, “as somebody who worked in low-income neighborhoods, I’ve seen it where people weren’t encouraged to work, weren’t encouraged to upgrade their skills, were just getting a check, and over time their motivation started to diminish.”

The welfare state may well help make poverty more comfortable, and some government programs that target literacy and educational achievement or prevent unwanted pregnancies may have a positive impact. But when it undermines the work ethic, the welfare state does little to help people rise above poverty and escape the underclass.

I have done pretty good research on this subject AND have grown up in gut-wrentching poverty, so I believe that I have a frame of reference in which to expound upon the subject of welfare vs. initiative decline. Extreme liberals and one of my family members who is constantly excusing being a total financial failure, seem to think that sociological statistics are totally wrong and refuse to even research evidence that will assuage their cognitive dissonance. Never should anyone go back to the basic animal studies that show a positive correlation between giving an animal everything that it needs to survive vs. having it forage for food. Basic experiments have proven that this is fact and it is now accepted as an eventual outcome that if provisions are provided for an experimental population without expectation of toil, the given population will begin to expect the provisions.

I do not vilify the welfare population as much as the supposedly civilized system that doesn’t provide socialized college education. Graduating with a huge debt over your head is pure insanity in a world where stupid knee-jerk liberal assholes want to totally fund meth addict fucktools in the medical system. Why assist these assholes to live over funding the college education of people who are busting their fucking asses to get ahead? This is liberal insanity! Assist poor struggling students to get into a market that needs them and leave drug addicts and lazy assholes to fend for themselves.

If the drug addict actually WANTS to get clean then fuck yeah! If its a court order, then defer to education, fuck the addict. Get firm tariffs on foreign goods, enact penalty laws on job exporters and get the minimum wage to a point where starving students can live on it! The minimum wage was NOT meant to raise a family on and should NOT be raised as such. People should not be encouraged to work on minimum wage to raise kids, but should be given the ability to get a college degree, an employable college degree, on it, period! The colleges and the businesses should be working in tandem to assist graduates to transition into the workforce as legitimate wage earners with the ability to work their way up the ladder.

The system is broken and in favor of the 1% who rape the shit out of us on a regular basis. There are restraints that we should be putting on our Supreme Court and upon capitalism itself. We are being a host nation to a vampire 1% that will suck us into a husk and leave us as a trivial nation on the field of their conquests. We are asleep at the switch and feel lucky to have the scraps from ‘Longshanks’ table, and we villify the person who got fucked in the recession or who works at Starbucks with his pHD. This is truly fucked! As in Captain America 2, Rodgers found that his own government was the villain in the whole scheme. Is government to be trusted or reviled? Do we just accept that its every person for themselves and say to Hell with community effort? Government was created by the people to prevent this, do we just give up and blindly vilify a system that we put in place to protect us or do we prosecute it’s villains and replace them with trustworthy people? WTF folks, really? You created this monster and now you want to oppose it and act like you didn’t help create it? Get in the fight you milquetoast assholes and take back your own creation, take back your rights and stop marginalizing the very poor that you yourself created by apathy!!

I know that I’m workin’ yo dissonance here, but we don’t need state subsidized sky fairies anymore. We know where the sun comes from and why the rain falls. We know that illness is random and doesn’t play fair but are only fucking with our own heads when we falsely rationalize that our dead loved ones are in a better place. The fact of the matter is is that the body and all that is contained in it is either in the ground or in the burn pan if the body has been cremated.

The mythology surrounding gods and angels is a well worn mythology that is very entertaining, but serves little function in a scientific world where the discoveries being made are sure as Hell more interesting than the bogus claims of the religious zealots. Mythology makes for great cinema and for those of us who remember The Omen, it sure as fuck was awesome entertainment, but if one actually believes that the son of Satan dwells upon the Earth, then these people are gonna have a Helluva wait for the fireworks between the son of God and ‘ol Damian to fly! This is whats generally known as ‘Cultish Crap,’ and has no actual relevance in the true scientific scheme of things. You see, scientists are NOT going to discover a child born of a jackal and then mysteriously die in a freak auto accident, they are going to trudge on revealing absolutely NO PROOF of the supernatural fairies of the bonzo world of the Holy Bible! In fact, they will continue to dismiss the arrogant, unfounded, ridiculous claims that that book of fairy stories continues to pass off as real. Hell, even Bill O’Reilly, who attacks atheists at every turn, cannot elevate the Bible to anything but “Parables, a book to guide one on a moral path. Of course I don’t take the Bible literally.” Strange though, that if you don’t believe that the Bible is the inspired work of God through his supplicants, you have to disbelieve in the story of Adam and Eve as a literal interpretation.

If the Adam and Eve story is not true, than Original Sin is not a fact and that negates the entire Noah thing from EVER having to come to pass, and that we do not even need a Savior to come down and sacrifice Himself to Himself, even though He is God on Earth, and he does not have to wash away the sins of man, because Original Sin actually does not exist! FUUUUUCK! Religion has WAY too many renditions of itself to be taken seriously! How can ANY faction claim legitimacy unless……none of it is real???!!

This obvious conundrum aside, I recently saw that horrible piece of shit Noah, ( thank Glob not in the theater ), and can see why it both sucked, and was reviled by the Christian masses. Not only does it defer to Jewish mythological interpretation, but it also retells the story for maximum movie excitement value, endorses Evolution, and portrays Noah as any other person in the Bible; as a person of blind devotion to something that he cannot see and is able to justify murder in it’s name, a zealot, an unhinged, paranoid radical! Perfect, a standard Biblical figure!

Thank Glob that the Bible is just ‘Parables’ and that most mainstream people don’t actually believe in talking snakes and bushes. That is why I have suggested The One Commandment to be adopted over The Ten Commandments, my One Commandment, 1. Do not fuck with people without reason to do so and let them live in peace worshipping what they want to, and be generally good to all without having to be told to fucking do so. A-Fucking-Men!
