My stupid opinion!

The ultimate GOD wants us to supplicate before him and tell him that we are unworthy?  O.K, I believe that a superior being that is incredibly superior to us wants this undecipherable bullshit performed by primitive idiots that can’t possibly understand his needs done in His name because Christians are SOOOO superior in intuition, that they know that the most advanced being in the universe wants us to treat him as though he is the fucking king of all!! Re-fucking-diculouse!!!!

Billboard Promoting Atheism Vandalized in California

Published February 18, 2010

Maybe God did it?

No one yet has claimed responsibility for the defacement of a billboard in Sacramento promoting atheism, but needless to say, the sponsors of the billboard aren’t happy.

The billboard originally read, “Are you without God? Millions are,” but someone used spray paint to add “also lost?” to the end of the message, reported.

Rachel Harrington of the Sacramento Area Coalition of Reason, which sponsored the billboard, said the ads aim to show it’s socially acceptable to be an atheist or an agnostic.

The vandalism “shows loud and clear just how necessary our message is, because prejudice against people who don’t believe in a god remains very real in America,” she told

Clear Channel, which leases the billboard space, has offered to replace the sign free of charge.

From the desk of The Imperious Bleeder– Millions lost for not buying into a ridiculous myth? Yes folks, Chrazy Christians chonverts are everywhere! They are even spraying grafitti on signs! Kudos to Clear Channel for doing the right thing! Just call them Mythbusters!!

I have to say that the food for Thanksgiving is turning out excellent. There is such an array of choices that I can’t help but thank science for this holiday as well as English religious persecution! Why, if certain other crazy deluded people had not been sentenced to the rack or been burned at the stake then I wouldn’t be enjoying my apple pie tomorrow. As I count the blessings of working my ass off for what we are about to recieve, I cringe to think that these bastards were cast out for being crazy? Not crazy enough? Hell, I don’t know, I just believe that EVERYONE needs to keep their shit to themselves. We already know that science answers questions and that religion answers none so I’d say that we have our clear winner here!
Not to get off of the subject, but seeing that 90% of people are vacuum headed sheep who will follow a Kardashian into the pits of Hell, I think I would choose NOT to subscribe to the beliefs of the majority! By my calculations the T.V ratings of the top reality shows indicate that these majority folks are quit comfortable having their tiny little brains spooned out by the networks. Due to the overwhelming-wait for it…..EVIDENCE! present in this little observation, I would say that having a stalwart viewer of Duck Dynasty tell me that a great sky fairy watches me 24/7 is like letting a woman with braces blow me! Both situations are a fucking no-brainer! Just like it’s elementary to intelligent people that you don’t have to cause a freeway traffick jam gawking at someone who is just getting a fucking ticket! I bet if I went through the lines of stalled traffick and asked about religious leaning, 90% would say that they believe in God or close to it! Not that atheists don’t do any of this, but we ARE more likely, as a group who thinks more freely and sanely, to be the ones on the sidelines yelling at these buffoons to get their sorry asses out of the way. We atheists tend to not live vicariously through those we read about in People Magazine because we are too busy thinking of ways to live in the now and advance scientific theory.
So on this turkey day, please do not say a fucking prayer, get the fuck out there and buy some food for the poor, for which they will turn around and thank GOD for instead of you. But you know the deal and that my friend, is good enough!

Science is the only miracle!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank science and his son evolution for all of the wonderful things that hard work has brought to my table this Thanksgiving. Without intestinal fortitude, I would probably be at home praying for these things instead of at work putting my two hands to better use. I have given to the poor, I have helped others selflessly because it is the right thing to do and not because I fear banishment to some Hell that a Holy child molester threatened me with. I jump start dead batteries and rescue animals if I can because I am a decent person who wants to set an example for others to follow.

On this Thanksgiving I would hope that people will be kind to each other and save being royal cocksuckers for those that truly deserve it. Non-believers don’t need a myth, we just need to know that we are doing the right thing. So as we go about our wonderful dinners and sumptuous drink, remember that someone’s myth is not watching over you, so be safe and sane this HOLY-day season. Glob be with you and Cheez-whiz is the reason for the season! Don’t forget to help that old lady across the street, she’s going to church and without your help God will kill her with a cross town bus! Please give to the poor because it’ll make God look better when their prayers are answered with food, even though it was given by YOU! Drop those coins into the Salvation Army kettle because if you don’t God will let those homeless people freeze to death without new coats! Cancer kids will still die while their parents cry and reason that their myth had a plan but let some child molester live till 80.

I could go on, but all I have to conclude with is please make the season a brighter one by subverting the will of God and not letting Him wreck it with His barbaric ‘plan.’ As human slaves toil in sweat shops right under God’s nose, please do your part and study the signs of human trafficking so that you can do more than a stupid prayer and actually deliver someone from bondage! And as The Almighty sits on His hands and lets the world’s atrocities go on, you will do your small part to make things better which equals more than the supposed power of the Big Sky Fairy! Peace and love folks.

Antonin Scalia is an asshole!

Scalia says atheism ‘favors the devil’s desires’

By Daniel Burke, CNN Belief Blog Co-editor

(CNN) – As the Supreme Court begins its new term Monday, the devil is not on the docket – but the Evil One apparently is on the mind of Justice Antonin Scalia.

New York magazine has published a fascinating new interview with Scalia in which the outspoken jurist tackled a number of topics. But none seemed to surprise Scalia’s interviewer, Jennifer Senior, more than his views on Satan.

The interview was conducted on September 26, the 27th anniversary of Scalia’s swearing-in as a justice on the high court. He is one of a record six Catholic justices on the Supreme Court.

After Scalia and Senior discussed heaven and hell (he believes in them; she doesn’t), the justice said in a stage whisper, “I even believe in the devil.”

“You do?” Senior replied.

“Of course! Yeah, he’s a real person. Hey, come on, that’s standard Catholic doctrine! Every Catholic believes that,” Scalia said.

Senior asked Scalia if he’s seen evidence of Satan’s work recently.

“You know, it is curious,” Scalia answered. “In the Gospels, the devil is doing all sorts of things. He’s making pigs run off cliffs, he’s possessing people and whatnot. And that doesn’t happen very much anymore. … It’s because he’s smart.”

Scalia said the Devil has gotten “wilier” and convinced people that he and God don’t exist. The justice added that he doesn’t think that atheists are Satan’s minions, but that disbelief in God “certainly favors the devil’s desires.”

Senior asked if it’s “frightening” to believe in the devil, which seemed to annoy Scalia.

“You’re looking at me as though I’m weird,” he answered. “My God! Are you so out of touch with most of America, most of which believes in the devil? I mean, Jesus Christ believed in the devil! It’s in the Gospels! You travel in circles that are so, soremoved from mainstream America that you are appalled that anybody would believe in the devil! Most of mankind has believed in the devil, for all of history. Many more intelligent people than you or me have believed in the devil.”

Scalia, whose son, Paul, is a Catholic priest in Arlington, Virginia, also said Pope Francis is “absolutely” right about the church needing to concentrate more on mercy and outreach than on fighting the culture wars.

“But he hasn’t backed off the view of the church on those issues,” Scalia said. “He’s just saying, ‘Don’t spend all our time talking about that stuff. Talk about Jesus Christ and evangelize.’ I think there’s no indication whatever that he’s changing doctrinally.”

Finally, Scalia said he has not “softened” his views on homosexuality.

“I still think it’s Catholic teaching that it’s wrong. OK? But I don’t hate the people that engage in it. In my legal opinions, all I’ve said is that I don’t think the Constitution requires the people to adopt one view or the other,” Scalia said.

Atheist gets her day at the Supreme Court

By Bill Mears, CNN Supreme Court Producer

(CNN)– Linda Stephens has lived in her upstate New York community for more than three decades and has long been active in civic affairs.

But as an atheist, those views have put her at the center of a personal, political, and legal fight that has reached the U.S. Supreme Court.

The issue is public prayer at her local town board meetings, another contentious case over the intersection of faith and the civic arena.

The justices on Wednesday will hear arguments over whether Greece, New York, may continue sponsoring what it calls “inclusive” prayers at its open sessions, on government property.

Stephens and co-plaintiff Susan Galloway have challenged the policy, saying virtually all of those invited to offer legislative prayers over the years were Christians.

“It’s very divisive when you bring government into religion,” Stephens told CNN from her home.

“I don’t believe in God, and Susan is Jewish, so to hear these ministers talk about Jesus and even have some of them who personally question our motives, it’s just not appropriate.”

The town of about 94,000 residents counters that after concerns from the two women and others, it sought diverse voices, including a Wiccan priestess, to offer invocations. Officials say they do not review the content of the remarks, nor censor any language.

“The faith of the prayer giver does not matter at all,” said John Auberger, Greece’s board supervisor, who began the practice shortly after taking office 1998. “We accept anyone who wants to come in and volunteer to give the prayer to open up our town meetings.”

A federal appeals court in New York found the board’s policy to be an unconstitutional violation of the Constitution’s Establishment Clause, which forbids any government “endorsement” of religion.

Those judges said it had the effect of “affiliating the town with Christianity.”

“To the extent that the state cannot make demands regarding the content of legislative prayers,” said Judge Guido Calabresi, “municipalities have few means to forestall the prayer-giver who cannot resist the urge to proselytize. These difficulties may well prompt municipalities to pause and think carefully before adopting legislative prayer, but they are not grounds on which to preclude its practice.”

Some legal experts say while the high court has allowed public prayers in general, it has not set boundaries on when they might become too sectarian in nature.

“The case involves a test between two different kinds of legal rules,” said Thomas Goldstein, publisher and a leading Washington attorney.

“The Supreme Court has broadly approved legislative prayer without asking too many questions. But in other cases where the government is involved with religion, it has looked at lots of different circumstances. So we just don’t know whether this court will be completely approving of legislative prayers in this instance.”

The justices are now being asked to offer more firm guidelines over when and if such public prayers are constitutionally acceptable.

Felt marginalized

Galloway and Stephens say the elected board of the community outside Rochester almost always invited Christian clergy to open the meetings, usually with sectarian prayers. And they say they felt “marginalized” by the practice.

“When we tried to speak with the town, we were told basically if we didn’t like the prayers, we didn’t have to listen,” said Stephens, “or could stand out in the hallway while they were going on.”

Americans United for Separation of Church and State, the Washington-based group that is representing the two women, cited records showing that between 1999 and 2010, approximately two-thirds of the invocations contained the words “Jesus Christ,” Jesus,” Holy Spirit,” or “Your Son.”

And the lawsuit claims that from 1999 through 2007, every meeting had a Christian-only invocation. Following the complaints from the plaintiffs, four other faiths were invited in 2008, including a Baha’i leader and a Jewish lay person.

The plaintiffs say the Christian-only invocations resumed from January 2009 through June 2010. They claim those invited to the monthly meetings were selected by a city employee from a local guide that had no non-Christian faiths listed.

“Politics and religion simply don’t mix, and they certainly don’t mix in the local context of the Greece town council,” said the Rev. Barry Lynn, AUSCS executive director.

“The town seems to take the position that because once or twice over a decade, it hears from someone of a different religion, that somehow is inclusive. It trivializes what’s going here – a local government that should be willing and interested in participation of all its citizens, it wants those citizens to participate in an almost inevitably Christian prayer, in order to begin doing their business.”

Different rulings

While the 2nd Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals in New York last year unanimously ruled against Greece’s policy, other courts around the country have found such invocations – if inclusive and limited in scope – to be permissible.

Congress regularly opens its sessions with a prayer. Wednesday’s invocation by House Chaplain the Rev. Patrick Conroy began: “Eternal God, we give you thanks for giving us another day. Once again, we come to ask wisdom, patience, peace, and understanding for the members of this people’s House.”

Nearly 120 members of Congress, mostly Republicans, along with several state attorneys general have filed supporting legal briefs backing the city. So has the Obama administration.

“The history of prayers offered in connection with legislative deliberation in this country makes clear that a legislative body need not affirmatively solicit a court-mandated variety of different religious faiths– from inside and outside the borders governed by the legislative body– in order to avoid running afoul of the Establishment Clause,” said Justice Department lawyers’ in their amicus brief.

The Alliance Defending Freedom, a legal ministry based in Scottsdale, Arizona, filed the lawsuit on behalf of the Greece Town Board, saying the Supreme Court has upheld the practice of government bodies “to acknowledge America’s religious heritage and invoke divine guidance and blessings upon their work.”

“A few people should not be able to extinguish the traditions of our nation merely because they heard something they didn’t like,” said Brett Harvey, an attorney for the group. “Because the authors of the Constitution invoked God’s blessing on public proceedings, this tradition shouldn’t suddenly be deemed unconstitutional.”

Stephens realizes the stakes are high for her community and for the law as a whole. But on a personal level, this legal fight has been tough.

“I’ve received something of a backlash, both Susan and me,” the retired librarian said. “Threatening letters, some vandalism to my property, things like that. The prayers, and all the controversy, it makes you feel like an outcast, like we don’t count in our town.”

The case is Town of Greece, N.Y. v. Galloway (12-696). A ruling is expected by early summer.

Young Atheist!!

Hello my friends!

I want to begin this post with the very reason that an atheist can NEVER rejoin ‘The Matrix.’ Faith. Once you have lost it truly, then you can never recover it no matter how hard you try! The reasons will be given here soon for all to see. First, I see very clearly how a person who had claimed to be logical and rational could now claim to be a true Jesus faithful! All that would be needed would be a hard dose of mortality laced with the fear of the unknown. Usually it is fear that keeps people in ignorance and adhering to religion because it gives them the ‘Afterlife Option.’ Science gives them the truth of what will really happen, decomposition. A very few thinking people become so afraid that they want to be re ‘plugged,’ and they should not be ridiculed for their weakness. Fear is human nature and plays to the very heart of the ancient fears that all primates have.

Not all of us can be atheists. It takes great courage and the ability to stand being ostracized from ones social network to make such a drastic life choice. The rejection of the belief in a ‘Life Fairy Tale,’ takes possibly the most incredibly brave decision of a person’s life due to the devastating fallout that it produces. Most of this person’s associations are going to be with members of his church, and when they see that he no longer believes the fairy tale, they will turn against him and commit acts of sabotage. It is then up to this poor bastard to learn to effectively survive in a world where he is only in the world’s most fastest growing minority, ‘The Nones.’

The ‘Nones,’ are that caste of people reviled by the religious, not because of their non-belief, but because they are growing like a cancer among their ranks! ‘Nones comprise not only the current atheists, agnostics and non- affiliated, but the ‘Closeted atheists,’ that could make up as much as 20% more of YOUR ranks!! We are growing and there is nothing that ‘The Deluded Community,’ can do about it! Their GOD is becoming a choice and not a requirement with the freedom declaration of every new atheist/agnostic! Truly more people are becoming less afraid of the persecution that they will receive from the community of fairy tales!

I highly recommend podcast for those of you looking for a less controversial voice on atheism. Seth is an incredibly articulate gentleman who could talk God himself into becoming an atheist due to his finesse. He soothes the frayed nerves of the minister who calls in to confess his atheism and truly speaks to the pre-teen who is way ahead of her religious throwback parents.

I, on the other hand, lace my blog with vitriol and angst borne of a person who had to fight for his identity. I had a fundamentalist mother who traveled the states with her children in tow to the lowliest soup kitchens and claimed that she had God on her side. I fought as a 12 year old to break free of the insanity that IS belief in fairy tale bullshit to establish a belief in the wonders of science. I lived the spite and ridicule of that pitiful idiot as she proved to me time and time again, why her fantasy sky fairy wasn’t a part of reality! She and I degenerated into animosity that kept the two of us apart until I had received a call about 23 years later that she had passed on, I was 46 and the time is now!

I encourage all of those that this blog reaches to fly away! Spread your wings and ascend to the reality of the never-ending wonders of science! I ask that you put aside childish bullshit and secret invisible friends and enjoy the reality of knowledge!! Immerse yourself in the sciences and philosophy and question ALL that has ever been told to you! Ask questions and question the fantastic! Think freely and for yourself and question ANYONE that sets limits on your knowledge! If there is a condition and proof is not offered then the speaker is probably without merit and a charlatan selling the snake oil of religion! This is the quick feel good fix that lets you forget about reality and personal responsibility and ‘Let go, let God.’ The ultimate cop out in taking responsibility for your own actions!

Think for yourself but don’t be hasty. If you are in a social or work situation that might require much thought about ‘coming out,’ then weigh your pro’s and con’s. Do not irreparably damage yourself until you have a good support system in place because Christians are treacherous and vengeful and will do anything to discredit a dissenter! They have proven there evil over and over again and must be treated as a threat! New atheists need to be very careful not to ‘out’ others and of respecting the curious believer that appears to be questioning their indoctrination. The only thing that an atheist should be interested in, in my opinion, is spreading the truth and treating other well as many Christians have not! Be careful and help others to see the truth amidst the fairy tale.

In ending this, I hope to stir others to action and help others to protect budding non-believers from the idiocy of there detractors. Peace!

Live in the NOW!

The greatest thing about not relying on sky daddies is that when things don’t go your way, you don’t end up cursing them for not coming through. Also, when they do nothing that proves their existence, you really don’t give a fuck! Life is just a series of events that if a god truly existed, then His performance evaluation would reflect incredible ineptitude and blatant disregard in sitting on His celestial ass and doing nothing to relieve the suffering of lesser beings.

In my place of employment, God would be stripped of His I.D badge, asked to clean out His fucking desk, and escorted to his whatever the fuck deities drive nowadays! Security! Yeah, guys, could you please take this asshole OFF the premises, NOW?! I mean, this guy really kinda makes Jamie Dimon look competent and THAT, my friends, is truly a goddamned miracle, so don’t say that that sky fucker never did anything for us. He’s busy making Fortune 500 CEO’s look like they’re actually breaking a sweat! This, of course, is to say that if even Moammar Quaddaffi’s record of wins makes him look better than, you then you need a better PR guy!

In short, the better choice is to believe in yourself, take charge of your own life, make the changes YOU want to make and DON’T FUCKING PRAY ON IT, just DO it as Nike says!! Why spend your life awaiting an eternity that most likely isn’t there? Spend your life living it as though it’s eventually gonna end! Make the best of it, have fun, get a fucking tattoo, drink a fucking jello shot or two, or three! A person can wear holes in the carpet down on his knees and NEVER get any answers, but one can also get up get resolved to make a difference and actually HELP people instead of uselessly praying for them. Praying is like speaking into a cell phone with a dead battery, no one is ever gonna answer because no one can fucking HEAR you!

I know that this is one of my more acerbic posts, but I slog away doing my best in this life and roll with the events that occur that more ignorant people would say is ‘God’s Will,’ and don’t expect a sky daddy to alleviate them! I take the good with the bad and try to make the best of what comes my way. I get pissed, of course, but I don’t give up, or curse the empty sky, or pray that my problems go away because THAT shit never worked when I WAS a believer! Every day that I live shows me more of why self sufficiency is the answer. As the time goes on, I create my own successes and leave the absurd farther and farther behind, and this leaves me with a sense of personal satisfaction. A sense that, yes, I CAN effect my own destiny and that there will be things that no matter how hard I try, I just cannot effect the outcome. Some shit you juuust gotta let go of and accept that there will be some negative outcomes with the positive, but when you rely on yourself the positives seem to be a bit more abundant.

Religion is a weird thing in that it enthralls so many while accomplishing so little in the miracle department. It is very demonstrative of the sheep-like nature of the average person who adheres to it and like the Kartrashians and Honey BooBoo, the pablum sucking idiots get down on their knees and humiliate themselves in front of their fellow lemmings. I, personally, find it highly embarrassing to actually get down on my knees and worship something with no more substance than fucking Santa Claus! If I’m gonna embarrass myself it’s gonna be by something I DIDN’T mean to do, like fart in a crowd of beautiful women, or get caught looking down the shirt of a co-worker,( that HAS happened a time or two ).

I am going to spend MY time on this Earth accomplishing things and NOT wishing for things. My fairy Godmother does NOT exist and neither do the myths of the various accepted religions. Remember; one pair of hands working does more tha a thousand clasped in prayer!
