The ultimate GOD wants us to supplicate before him and tell him that we are unworthy? O.K, I believe that a superior being that is incredibly superior to us wants this undecipherable bullshit performed by primitive idiots that can’t possibly understand his needs done in His name because Christians are SOOOO superior in intuition, that they know that the most advanced being in the universe wants us to treat him as though he is the fucking king of all!! Re-fucking-diculouse!!!!
sex
Burn Baby!!
AsideI am amazed every day that I see religious literature at the bedside of someone who is acutely or chronically ill. Amazed because the fear is very present in the fact that these people do not ask why their all powerful omnipotent god does not heal them. If he was all powerful then you would expect that he could do this, but no, that goes against that shit in the bible meant to obscure the truth of the matter. Oh, we have free will and such, so god doesn’t get involved in these cases and lets his sheeple suffer as they cry out unto him! The truth is that these clauses in the spiritual contract are there to reinforce that you cannot see, touch or hear him, because if they weren’t then that would blow the illusion by making some poor bozo have to show up in a god suit with a puff of smoke!
These superstitions are based on blind faith alone and require but a sheep-like mentality to adhere to them. There is no basis or proof, there is no actual witnesses. Hell, Jesus can’t even be substantiated! The authors of the bible have only proven that to take control of the masses you need only to present a better deity than the one before. People are tractable, limited and backward thinking which really helps people like the Kartrashians get famous. Being an idiot also helps to increase the sales of gossip rags and romance novels because vacuum headed morons love to live vicariously through actors and other fictional characters. Why, if so many people didn’t pay attention to useless drivel then these things wouldn’t even exist, but they do because 90% of all people care more about their favorite American Idol than who is elected to lead them.
I see the terrible things that happen to innocent people every day yet I see these people or their family members pray to the very god that supposedly is powerful enough to have prevented the tragedy. The excuses, of course, are free will, the Devil, god is testing them, etc. I say that if HE was all-powerful, then HE would be a better steward of his fucking resources, but thats just me and sense having a conversation over here! I try not to spoil another person’s irrational blabber with my petty logic and reasoning, and I also try not to impune their impotent sky cop by constantly questioning HIS grace and power either. I just would love to have some insight as to why people have to make up fantastic stories to make themselves feel secure instead of looking to each other for strength. Sky Daddy is gone! The smoke and mirrors have gathered layers of dust while God has trimmed the long white hair into a mohawk and gone off to follow The Stones on their last tour! The ticket booth is empty and the great theater of life is no longer seating for the reading of The Book of Life! Yes your gonna burn, but only when your cremated by a relative trying to save 12 Grand on that silver handled casket! Hell, he may just row you out in the ol fishing boat, weigh you down with a few rocks and let the alligators do the rest! The moral of this story is that you are fucking gone when you are gone!
No animosity, but live your life and keep praying that real science will cure your ills! This is the only way that cures happen because GAWD is not gonna help! Faith does, because it is a powerful tool of the mind, not GOD driven. The human mind is a very underestimated and powerful thing that religion tries everyday to exploit and destroy. Once we can direct the power of the mind to assist science in healing, we will no longer need the lies and fairy stories of religion! How exciting!
Well, blog ya soon! Good bye and False-God Bless! Satan Mosel tov, Beelzebub Bye! Fairy tale farewell…..I’m beating a dead horse aren’t I? BYE!!!
Sense and sensibility!
StandardYou know, I really care about logic and reason and want to do my part of elevating science over bullshit like religion. I care very much about my readers who wish to get info or make the ‘leap of faith’ into a way of life that requires no faith, but I rarely bother with the God folk unless they reply to my posts. If they unsubscribe to my blog then so be it! These close-minded individuals are not who I post or write for. My main audience is secular/atheist/agnostic readers and even my ‘About’ line states this, so of the 59 readers, I now have 57. I have almost 60 people who give a shit about learning reason and logic! The two that unsubscribed were probably those Macauley Culkin motherfuckers who slap their hands to their faces every time someone actually opposes their hedonistic, incestuous warmongering god!
I’m here to spread the message of science over fairy tales and I/we are rapidly growing! We cannot be stopped because science becomes more and more readily available through media despite GOD’S puling followers. This is not a fight against GOD, this is a fight against illogical people and the insidious leaders who created this god in mans image! The need for crowd control and religious thievery is over and it’s time to try to solve man’s problems with something that will actually help instead of empty prayers to an empty sky. “One pair of hands at work do more than a thousand clasped in prayer,” the saying goes. Tsunami, earthquake, flood, fire victims benefit from working hands, not empty prayers to the God ‘o’ choice for the modern day. When you go to sleep at night and dream, the unicorn you that you see has more substance and reality than your Sky Fairy. At least one of your mind’s eyes can see it and talk to it, and SHIT DAWG, that little son of a bitch actually talks back! Sure it may be fantasy, but we acknowledge this and that is it, but GOD, on the other hand, is put forward as a real entity! Why would you EVER tell a child that their dreams are not real and then drag them off to a temple built as a holy bank and tell them to pray to something that will never answer or never assist them in life?
I’ve witnessed organic and chemical imbalance, but it is nothing compared to the mass delusion of religious belief. People in the scientific field state every day that they believe in the Sky Fairy, and even gay people who have known of the atrocities of the church still tweak Christianity to include themselves! Koreans, Vietnamese, Mexicans and many other ‘conquered’ peoples still subscribe to the religion of their oppressors, the very religion that their ancestors were tortured and forced to embrace. The Native Americans who were taken from their families and beaten into submission in ‘Indian Only’ Christian schools still subscribe to the barbarism of Yahweh, unbefuckinglievable!
I will continue to use science and reason to wake up the sleeping sheeple to a more responsible way of being. We need to have many more rational thinkers if we are to save this overpopulated mess, and we need to get rid of religions that oppress women such as, Islam, Hinduism and Christianity with all of the variations that claim sovereignty over one another. We need wide spread access to birth control, abortion, even though this should be a last resort, and information on self sustaining ways of life beyond refugee camps. People need logic/reason/science based charities to expand their influence to places such as the areas ravaged by the barbaric oppression of women by the idiot Mother Theresa. She single handedly elevated being bereft and dirt poor to a place of dignity and suppressed birth control measures in adherence with the misguided doctrine of the Catholic Church. Its hard for me to believe that the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded in 1979 to this propagator of disease and oppression.
Well, I will keep posting and praying for the lost souls of religion! OH GOD! Please deliver me from your deluded followers! In yer Duck Dynasty loving Holy name I pray unto you this very day oh Lord of Lords and almighty Big ‘un to whomst I most eloquently raise my arms in holy supplication, puhleeeeze make these fucking idiots realize that you are no more real than My Little Pony! Oh, wait. My daughter has several My Little Pony action figures, so I guess that makes them MUCH more real than you…..AAAAAND I’m talking to myself! Now I know how it feels to be someone in a big house with stained glass windows on my knees praying to something that down deep, I know doesn’t really exist but I’m too scared to say so because my friends and family will hate me( and love me through ‘god’s grace-snicker! ). Really, the truth is actually out. We atheist know that about 75% ( at least, conservatively ), of you believers ACTUALLY don’t believe in your own god, you just keep up a good appearance. If a fellow Christian told you that they had seen Christ in person, ( which is totally possible under your doctrine ), most of you would either humor the ‘poor crazy bastard,’ medicate him, or just plain scoff at such a ‘ridiculous’ notion! We get it! Your hold on unreality is slipping fast because you no longer believe in hucksterish magic and fast talking idiots due in the most part by the proliferation of simple science!
Don’t worry! You will find no judgement for lack of sky fairy faith here! All of us, at one time or another, believed in some kind of fantastic garbage that was completely illogical and without basis. Trust me, if you join the ranks of the sensible, you will not end up sealed beneath a housing development praying that a little girl will will free you thru the TV! (Poltergeist reference! Booyah!).
Thank God! ( hahahahahahahahaha ).
StandardIrish schoolchildren to learn about atheism
Up to 16,000 primary-school pupils in multi-denominational sector will learn about atheism, and others will be offered courses on the internet and smartphone apps

In a historic move that will cheer Richard Dawkins, lessons aboutatheism are to be taught in Ireland‘s primary schools for the first time.
The lessons on atheism, agnosticism and humanism for thousands of primary-school pupils in Ireland will be drawn up by Atheist Ireland and multi-denominational school provider Educate Together, in an education system that the Catholic church hierarchy has traditionally dominated.
Up to 16,000 primary schoolchildren who attend the fast-growing multi-denominational Irish school sector will receive tuition about atheism as part of their basic introduction course to ethics and belief systems, including other religions.
From September 2014 children could be reading texts such as Dawkins’ The Magic of Reality, his book aimed at children, according to Atheist Ireland.
But Michael Nugent, Atheist Ireland’s co-founder, stressed that all primary-school pupils, including the 93% of the population who attend schools run by the Catholic church, can access their atheism course on the internet and by downloading an app on smartphones. He said these would be advertised and offered to all parents with children at primary schools in the state.
“There will be a module of 10 classes of between 30 to 40 minutes from the ages of four upwards. It is necessary because the Irish education system has for too long been totally biased in favour of religious indoctrination. And if parents whose kids are in schools under church control want to opt their kids out of learning religion (as is their right these days) then they can use our course as an alternative for their children to study,” he said.
Nugent added: “Religion isn’t even taught properly as an objective subject with various religions and their origins examined and explained. The teaching is to create faith formation first, not objective education. We see our course as a chance for young Irish children to get an alternative view on how the world works.”
Jane Donnelly, a member of Atheist Ireland and a parent of two children in an Irish secondary school, welcomed the creation of an atheism alternative for Irish pupils.
“I opted my two girls out of religious education classes and they were told to go to the library and find a philosophy book to read during RE instead. The range of philosophy books was very limited so I sent them into school each day with a copy of Richard Dawkins’ The God Delusion for them to read.”
Religion, education and the Irish Republic
• God is omnipresent in the 1937 Irish constitution, with article 6.1 stating: “All powers of government, legislative, executive and judicial, derive, under God, from the people”; and article 44.1 noting: “The State acknowledges that the homage of public worship is due to Almighty God. It shall hold His Name in reverence, and shall respect and honour religion.”
• Since the foundation of the republic, the Catholic church controls up to 93% of the state’s 3,200 primary schools.
• The Catholic church’s near monopoly of influence in education means that the ultimate power in each school is the local Catholic bishop.
• In Dublin the city’s archbishop, Diarmuid Martin, is patron of about 470 primary schools. He is responsible for the management of the ethos of those schools, for senior appointments and is the one who can be sued when legal action takes place.
• The Irish taxpayer, and not the church, pays the bills for all the schools the hierarchy controls.
• The Irish education minister, Ruairi Quinn, has promised “the most radical change in primary education in Ireland since the state was founded in the 1920s” by taking the power of the church from running almost all schools in the state and putting it into the hands of elected governors. So far his reforms have not begun in earnest.
• This article was amended on 27 September 2013 to clarify that pupils in multi-denominational schools will learn about atheism as part of the wider curriculum covering ethics, beliefs and religion. Atheists will not be teaching children that God does not exist, as originally stated, rather, children will be educated about atheism, including the atheist belief that God does not exist.
The great Sam Harris!
VideoSam Harris has debated and won against the most learned religious scholars in the world. I find it very strange still that most of the population doesn’t give an atheist points just because there is NO PROOF that ANY religion is factual in any way! These geniuses have had to debate supporters of fairy tales for years because of the gullibility of mankind.
`Six Types of Atheists’ study wakes a sleeping giant
By Daniel Burke, CNN Belief Blog Co-Editor

(CNN) – They were trying to prove a simple point: That nonbelievers are a bigger and more diverse group than previously imagined.
“We sort of woke a sleeping giant,” says Christopher F. Silver, a researcher at theUniversity of Tennessee at Chattanooga. “We’re a bit overwhelmed actually.”
Silver and his project manager, Thomas Coleman, recently released a studyproposing six different types of nonbelievers – from strident atheists to people who observe religious rituals while doubting the divine.
The study clearly struck a chord, particularly among triumphal atheists and uneasy believers. Articles appeared in in Polish, German, Russian and Portuguese, Silver said.
Here on CNN.com, our story “Behold, the Six Types of Atheists” garnered about 3.14 gazillion hits and thousands of comments.
Half the fun seemed to lie in atheists applying the categories to themselves, kind of like a personality test.
“I guess I’m a 1-2-4 atheist,” ran a typical comment.
Other commenters questioned the study’s categories, methods, and even the religious beliefs of its authors.
Silver and Coleman agreed to answer our readers’ questions via email from Tennessee. Some of their answers have been edited for length and clarity.
Q: Several readers asked how you came up with your six categories of atheists?
A: In a sense we let the participants inform our theory.
The categories were devised from a series of 59 interviews conducted with people nationwide who don’t believe in God. Participants were asked to define various terms of nonbelief as well as their own religious views.
We also asked participants to tell us their stories and how their religious views have changed over time. We found the most commonly repeated stories and descriptions and formed them into types.
We then used those types in the survey portion of the project. Each of the six categories proved to be statistically unique in a wide array of psychological measures.
Q: @PaulTK asks: Are atheists limited to the six categories your study proposes?
A: We suspect that further research exploring people who don’t believe in God will certainly expand the number of categories and fill in more details about the six we’ve named.
For example, we found that the Intellectual Academic Atheist type may produce a 7th type reflecting those who are more “philosophically orientated” versus those who are more “scientifically orientated.”
Our study also gives some evidence that individuals may not believe in God but still identify with religion or spirituality in some way.
Q: @JessBertapelle asks: Can people fit into more than one category?
A: The typology of nonbelief is fluid. Based on our interviews, we suspect people transverse the various types over the course of their lives. Since we did not conduct a longitudinal design (a study conducted over time tracking the same people) we are unable to validate this assumption.
For those of you who found yourselves agreeing with multiple positions, you may find characteristics that you identify with in all types but there is likely one type which is your preference.
Q: @Melissa asks: Why isn’t there a category for “closet atheists”?
A: This is an excellent question. Many of our interviews were done in strict confidence where the participant’s own parents, spouses, or children had no idea they were participating in the study. One participant hid in the back of her closet because she did not want her parents to discover she is an atheist.
But while there were plenty of “closeted” participants, they didn’t agree in how they describe their religious views. That is, they ranged across a variety of our six types.
Q: stew4248 asks: How is this any different than religious divisiveness?
A: There is vast diversity among religious believers, but it’s unclear if such diversity exists within nonbelief.
We do know that the Antitheist category has much in common with religious fundamentalism. Likewise the Intellectual atheism/Agnosticism type has a lot in common with intellectual theology, although they are clearly not the same.
Q: How did you find the participants for the study?
Participants were recruited through nonbelief communities across the country. They were recruited face-to-face, through snowball sampling (participants sharing the study with friends), and through the Internet.
Project manager Thomas J. Coleman III is well known in the atheist community because he is suing the Hamilton County (Tennessee) Commission for their involvement in divisive sectarian prayer at meetings. His reputation helped locate “closeted” atheists to participate.
The regional breakdown of participants is presented on the project website.
Q: A number of readers have also asked about your own religious affiliations, if you don’t mind.
Christopher F. Silver answers:
I was born and raised in the rural South to a deeply religious Methodist family. In my hometown everyone was Christian. As was the case for many in our study, during college I was introduced to people from different cultures and ideologies. I was interested in studying different faith traditions and why people believe.
In many respects, research for this was a selfish enterprise for me. There is nothing more transformative than sitting with someone as they share their life story with you. Today I consider myself an agnostic in the real philosophical sense. The more I learn, the more I recognize the extensiveness of my ignorance.
Thomas J Coleman III answers:
My mother has been active in the Methodist church as a choir member and pianist for most of her life. My grandparents were very active in the church and went every Sunday. Growing up, I would often go as well.
But for me, “religion” was always something that other people did. I prefer to identify as a secular humanist.
Silver and Coleman would like to point out that their study was supported and conducted in collaboration with the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Department of Psychology and the Doctorate in Learning and Leadership.
The bottom line….
StandardI see before me many a soul looking for salvation in the good book of mythology called the Bible. These kind folk are the lemmings of the world who trust not their own senses and their ability to understand science and reason! These are the very same people who were once persecuted by said beliefs contained within the mythological text mentioned above. I give you anyone who has ever descended from a people forced into Christianity from another mythology that was once practiced by their native peoples! Please study the indoctrination of the African Americans, the Koreans, the Vietnamese, the Native Americans, and the list goes on! Peoples who were tortured for their belief in a ‘savage god’ and forced upon penalty of death to worship the ‘generous and loving god’ of Abraham!
The above examples are of the recent crimes and don’t even touch upon the Crusades or other wars fought in the name of love and glory! The comedian Chris Rock once said, “If a black person is a Christian than he’s got a short fuckin memory!” AMEN! Why would a people who have claimed freedom fro an oppressor continue to embrace the captor’s religion? Why are there Korean Christians? Vietnamese Christians?
Thank GAWD!
StandardI saw an interesting but tragic news story on Saturdat that featured a man who was swallowed up by a sinkholewhile sleeping. The funny thing was is that 2 days after this had happened they called off the search and are assuming that the guy is dead. On the sidelines the guy’s family is seeing it as a sign from god that the family bible made it out of the house intact! Maybe, just maybe the LOGICAL thing to do would be to ask why oh why the fuck did ‘you’ have to take whats-his-nuts and save us the fucking BIBLE?! These idiots probably go with the Gawd’s Plan explanation anyway. Also, it seems quite clear that Tebowing is no longer helping Tim Tebow as his star is already on the wane! Should he file a grievance or just change gods? If you can fire your agent for not doing his job, can you not fire your GOD for not living up to ‘his’ promises? I would! Hey Zeus! Yaweh just ain’t cuttin’ it these days regardless of how often I make myself look like an idiot Tebowing to him. You want the job? Show me da munny!! No less than $20 million to sign! I am also fiddling with my hitchens67 youtube channel to put up some special effects and get it more interesting. Please visit if you have an inclination, I would greatly appreciate it and I comment in return! I will be adding some historical points and some debating info for the non-believer to use in arguements so look for this as well. I will catch up to y’all later and peace out!
Young Atheism
StandardGood Morrow Atheists and other readers!
Yes, I still struggle to get my message out there because this is my first blog ever! I have to strategically embed it into all of the leisure/social electronic networking that I do to spread the GOOD news! But I digress…
My daughter had her best friend over this weekend and she happened to leave one of her college papers here on accident and I just picked it up. The subject is religion and how people are still following it even though it is obviously filled with crooks in almost ALL of the leadership positions. She goes on to mention such mind-criminals as Joel ‘The Hole’ Osteen and various other modern day snake oil salesmen who are not at all masking their Tony Robbins style of mind control. Not that this is necessary seeing that 80 or greater percent of humanity are a bunch of vapid, media-digesting lemmings, but just so you know where this is going, get my drift? This is not new or news in that we already know that those of us who buck this archaic system of spiritual slavery are going to be reviled for our forward-thinking, our vision into a world absent of the yoke of religious oppression.
The paper goes on to point out various things that should be obvious to the average person, that the religion is not on the level and should be ACTUALLY regarded as a financial institution fully vested in the task of earning money for it’s leaders. The opulence in which these assholes exist and to which they elevate the church should at once be the cue, but serves to actually BUILD the flock of the blind! Check out the many Osteen books and seminars, the suits he wears, the money he makes and see if it can be equated with the simple robes and sandals supposedly worn by Jesus! Lemmings eat this shit UP! Some would say that this represents the Great Whore of the ‘End Times.” I say give me her number, I could use a good whore about now! HA! Just kidding! Seriously, the Great whore seems to come into the living room and to the mega-churches everyday and hoodoo EDUCATED people into believing this fairy-tale bullshit!
Just today I was into my Yahoo page and one of the stories was about Jillian Michaels and her new adoption as well as coinciding birth, from her partner, of their new baby. Now I clicked in because I thought I might get to see her in some of her incredibly sexy workout clothes but it was not to be. The article said that she was told early on that she could not have children. Ms. Michaels says that GAWD had other plans for her! This is where it gets to the point that I say that humanity is too stupid to carry on! In Vietnam many of the people are Christians as well as Korea. In Mexico almost all of the population is Catholic. In Ireland you have the Catholics and the Protestants. In the good ol’ USA you have a mix of all AND you have gays and lesbians that go to church, WHY!! All of the above groups that I have just named were FORCED to capitulate or they were killed! Why are these idiots still embracing the religion of their oppressors? Yes, I understand the sociology, but that means that we are truly base life forms who are to pass into history just like the Dodo!
These are frustrating times for those of us who embrace science and reason over cockamamie fairy bullshit. These churches are an unchecked infection that is ravaging mankind and the most prominent symptom is BLINDNESS! Todays huckster sells you on how ‘hip’ it is to believe in fairy tales, that GAWD doesn’t MIND if you have wealth because the ‘faithful’ deserve it for being so kind and upstanding! Church is now run on business models that are right out in the open now! They don’t have to hide it because the business man astually LIKES that his church is the most successful. Sound like the Mormons? They have been following the business model for years earning them the animosity of the other faiths, but now that it’s the ‘in’ thing, it’s popular now for all churches to be a business. This and they dangle the fact that other church members will only patronize YOUR business because you are one of them.
Beware, is all that I can say. Beware of these motivational spiritual self-help books based in religion that will encourage you to believe that you can’t improve yourself without faith. When I envision ‘The Great Whore’, besides thinking of yo’ mama(just kidding, I am a guy you know), I see these Creflo Dollar/Joel Osteen/Benny Hinn fucking illusionists preying on the weak-minded, the troubled and the psychologically injured souls who are searching for meaning and falling for the Tony Robbins-like pump-up to make them feel whole again. Atheists tend to have these traumatized souls as well, but traumatized from religion. We also have the fiercely independent people who think appropriately that religion is just another crutch, a plug in the the leaky wall, a band-aid and not a viable solution to problems that need a PERMANENT solution.
On that note, I will say FUCK FUCKETY FUCK FUCK FUCK!! Strange ending? Sorry. I had a houseguest over the weekend who calls EVERYONE on ‘Language’. This isn’t because of religion, but the adherance to certain rules closely resembles that crap! With such prose as the above, I am finding that one does NOT necessarily use cursing because their vocabulary is lacking, please see above rant as an example. I have NEVER been accused of the lack of vocabulary, indeed I have been vociferously accused of using my ‘Harvard Mouth’ to baffle and gain the upper hand in a debate! Team America-FUCK YEAH! I will now sign off and attend to the business of fighting religion by other means. Please, if you are a believer, leave a response. I have not been, in one of my thousands of debates with believers, been swayed or even close to beaten when debunking religion. I have science and reason and NOTHING trumps THAT! Peace out!
